Sharp as a tack

I should really shop my closet more and think of all the combinations possible with my current stack of clothes; I think that's the greatest challenge of everyday dressing.

Take this look. None of the things I'm wearing are particularly new or expensive or groundbreakingly stylish.

But put together...hell, it's quite a sharp look, if I do say so myself.

It's a blazer I've had since 2003 (from Rustan's), which is too small now but I still love; a random old gray tank from the Surplus Shop which I occasionally wear to sleep, a plum stretch skirt from Forever 21 (ditto for the necklace, which you've seen here before) and some scarlet pumps from Payless.
Again, nothing earthshaking, but the beauty's in the combination.

Something to keep in mind the next time I look at my closet and claw my hair in frustration. Because whenever I cry "I have nothing to wear!" it's just not true.

(but I still really wanna buy colored denim skinny jeans and maybe a pair of printed trousers. my bday's coming up HINT HINT)

I have to agree with Mitch. Pencil skirts were clearly made for you. And your calves do look very toned. The pencil skirts are doing their job perfectly. And of course so are the heels, and the futsal. I hope you don't mind me asking but do you have any photos of you flexing your calves.
