Lazy day formula: the man's polo + pencil skirt

I declare this week to be Man Polo Week; expect a MangoJuiced feature tomorrow and a shopping post on Friday!

Man Polos (or Oversize Button-Downs, or OBDs because an acronym makes everything sound cooler haha) are my lazy-day best friend. They've got that slouchy-chic vibe going on, but aren't too grunge-y so I still look like I made an effort.

You can style your OBD with a half-tuck (as Jen does so well -- happy anniversary Style in Real Life!), or my personal favorite, belting it over a trim pencil skirt.

It's forgiving on a plus size body, especially if you've got a tummy that's a bit too unrestrained under stretchy cotton skirts. Do remember your proportion too -- if the top's too slouchy, it'll look structured over something cut close to the body, like skinny jeans, this pencil skirt, or some short-shorts.

Leather and silver friendship bracelets and booties work the butch-femme vibe too.

Nice look! Tried this look before but it didn't look oversized on me because hubby is way sexier than me. Anyway, i think girls sporting menswear are cool.
