I don't know what it is about this outfit...
The red pumps and undershirt? The wide, kimono-esque sleeves of the sweater? The bangles and the pendant?
I just felt like it was 2001 again, when "Oriental" references (ugh I know, I know, this is such a loaded word) were big in fashion and for my senior year I went around college in wooden slippers (like those Japanese slippers, Geta), knee-length skirts and wrap-cut blouses in cheongsam or chinoiserie prints. Agh, I will look for pictures for proof that this trend really existed, because the Internet is no help!
Credits: Sweater, The Gap (thrifted from my sister); tank top, Anonymous; pants, SM maternity; Payless pumps; Aksesorya pendant; random garrison belt and tiangge bangle.
