Double Take: One top, two ways

I got this top from Zalora last August and it's been one of my instant faves for its black and pale pink combo, sheer fabric and print (those are teeny little bows). The trapeze cut, which I initially liked, proved to be a challenge with my curvy frame. But here are a couple of ways I made it work:

For work

Getting the trapeze to cooperate? Proportion! Mix one blousy top with a structured bottom (this pencil skirt) and some sleek accessories.
Worn with: Peacocks pencil skirt, B Club studded pumps, black tank top, Girl Shoppe bracelet and Orly 'Mysterious' nail lacquer (mah fave)!

For play

On a Friday night out with my good pals, I wanted to be up for anything, so out came the colored trousers and, for that girlish touch (which really hid curly bangs), a French twist.
Worn with: brick-red pants (D'Girl boutique, Market Market); friendship bracelets from H&M, The Bead Shop and everywhere; nude brogues from Forever 21.

So which do you prefer: the work or play look? ;-)
