The "special" dress

You ever have clothes you love but don't wear too often, because they're "special" in some way? It's a bad habit I have -- especially when it comes to this dress.

It's my first-ever "designer" dress. I actually got it at the Karl Edwards Bazaar, Christmas 2011 from a lady who sold one-off designer duds. This is a 100% silk DKNY, and though pricier than what I usually buy, not as expensive as buying it off-the-rack at the boutique.
Which is why I don't wear it so often even if it's pretty and wearable and comfy. This is, in fact, the second time ever that I wore this (to take my Big Boss out to lunch; first time was to a wedding). I should get over it, I know -- beautiful clothes deserve to be worn, not molder in a closet!

And it's so graphic-y and mod that all I need to do is wear it with a nice necklace and some tall red pumps!

I know, I'll get those blog comments about my calves again...

It is! I have to wear a chemise (bet you haven't heard that since grade school LOL) under though because the silk is kind of thin. #modesty haha

That's a cool dress. It certainly does come in handy during for those scorching hot days.
And I see you anticipated getting comments, or rather compliments about your calves. Let me be the first to say, WOW!! They are awesome!! Whatever it is you're doing to get them to look like that, keep doing it! I hope you're proud of them, cause you should be!
