I was so excited when I got this peasant skirt from SM Department Store last year (from the Weekender label) but I think I got lazy styling it -- one time I paired it with a loose blouse for work and one of my friends called me a manghuhula (fortune teller!)

I hadn't been wearing it often since then. But one day I wanted to challenge myself, so I brought it out. How to make a peasant skirt not fortune tellerish?

Step 1: Definitely DO NOT pair with loose shirts!

This puff-sleeved Rizal Monument blouse is from Bayo and I've had it for five or six years now. I also added a braided denim belt from People are People to fix proportions. Sandals are from Nine West. Also wearing Aksesorya and SM necklaces and bracelets from Zalora and Bosquejo.

I always get that "manghuhua-ka-ba" reaction when I go for the bohemian look, too! Kakalurkey! Love everything about the outfit, especially the puff-sleeved top and denim belt. So kikay!
